Clothespin shower game

This baby shower game became a classic for a reason. Guests enjoy playing it! Play this in a traditional way or play one of our game variations!

The premise of this game is a simple one. Guests are instructed to avoid your word of choice throughout the party. The optimal word to avoid is 'baby', but one may opt to avoid other words such as ones related to baby shower themes.

Each guest is given a clothespin and an optional rope necklace at the beginning of the shower. If one guest catches another using the taboo word, the observant guest lays claim to that guest's clothespin. The guest with the most clothespins at the end of the shower is the winner!

Game variations
Here's a few uncommon variations for those throwing uncommon baby shower!

Forbidden candy - The hostess places candy dishes and candy throughout the party. Anyone seen touching (or snacking) on a candy gives up their clothespin!
Forbidden colors - Any guest touching a forbidden color gives up their clothespin!
